Après Côme et avant Venise, la Ville de Montrouge reçoit pour la 9ème fois - unique étape en France -, l’exposition internationale Miniartextil organisée depuis plus de vingt ans par les collectionneurs italiens Nazzarena Bortolaso et Mimmo Totaro. Condensé de ce que l’art textile contemporain produit de plus dynamique et d’original, Miniartextil 2013 présente plus d’une cinquantaine d’œuvres « mini-textiles », de format 20 cm3 maximum.
Un thème différent chaque année, permet aux artistes de renouveler leurs créations. Pour cette nouvelle édition, c’est l’Agora : le lieu de rassemblement des cités de la Grèce Antique et par extension le point de rencontre politique, religieux, commercial parfois et aussi topographique qui saura fédérer les créateurs textiles de tous les continents.
Miniartextil se prolonge également à Paris pendant toute la durée de l’exposition à travers un parcours de galeries partenaires.
Visites-découverte tout public les dimanches 3, 10, 17 et 24 février à 15h.

In February Miniartextil goes to Paris! Le Beffroi, a charming theatre of the 30’s, recently restored, will host from the 1st to the 24th of February the exhibition Agorà miniartextil in the heart of Montrouge, close to Paris. The ancient theatre, built by the architect Henri Decaux, became again a cultural reference point for the French city, and is dedicated to conferences, exhibitions, conventions, tutorials, concerts and events. The large scale installations and the minitextile works that fascinated the public in Villa Olmo, will amaze the visitors in France as well. Between the international artists that will expose at Le Beffroi, we remember the names of Kiyonori Shimada, Nahoko Kojima, Martin Emilian Balint, Irene Anton, Tonje Hoydahl Sorli, Richard Sweeney, David Oliveira, Patrizia Polese, Mahé Boissel, Nathalie Boutté, Francesco Corbetta. Inauguration: friday the 1st of February 2013, at 7 P.M.
