"If you should decide to live with the bare minimum, you can be inspired by the prefabricated, poetic, basic wood cottage built in the garden of Cascina Cuccagna by the young Dutch designer, Martijn Koomen, of the Eindhoven Academy (www.martiinkoomen.com). Ten designers from the prestigious school joined forces to furnish the small pavilion. From china made by hand with scrap to lamps obtained from old gas cylinders, from rooftops transformed to accommodate plants to the rattan bench or the delicate embroidery of imaginary cities by the only Italian artist of the group, Giulia Berra: each work suggested sustainability, warmth, innovation, craftsmanship and honesty."

"Se si decide di vivere con il minimo indispensabile si può prendere spunto dalla casetta prefabbricata in legno, poetica ed essenziale, costruita nel giardino di Cascina Cuccagna dal giovane designer olandese Martijn Koomen dell’Academy di Eindhoven(www.martiinkoomen.com). Dieci designer della prestigiosa scuola si sono uniti per arredare questo piccolo padiglione: dalle porcellane realizzate a mano con gli scarti alle lampade ricavate da vecchie bombole del gas, dalle cime dei tetti trasformate per ospitare vegetazione alla panca di canne o ai delicati ricami di città immaginarie dell’unica italiana del gruppo, l’artista Giulia Berra, ogni lavoro esprime sostenibilità, calore, innovazione, artigianato e onestà."
