LAST FEW DAYS!

Vote my work on www.insideart.eu.

Cavallette (Grasshoppers), 68 element installation, embroideries on silkpaper, unsettled dimensions (about 9x35 cm per element, intervals of about 5 cm), 2012

The series of silkpaper strips with embroideries of grasshopper exuviae (spoils abandoned by the insect after the molt) deals with the relation between individual and collective change associated to the idea of chrysalis, a border status suspended between life and death, past and future. Individual or mass? Every day life or peast? These questions and their potential answers live and alternate deep down inside oneself, inside every community.
