FLEET OF DREAMS

FLOTTA DI SOGNI

The installation looks like a fleet of dreams, a flock of boats made ​​of moulting feathers of various birds of the color of the sky and the sea, the clouds and the abyss. It is a flight, a migration, a mid-air travel on thin vessels. There are no helmsmen, oars, sails or engines, but just the strength and the tenacity of one's hope and visions.

L'installazione si presenta come una flotta di sogni, uno stormo di barche realizzate con penne di muta di vari uccelli del colore del cielo e del mare, delle nuvole e degli abissi. E' un volo, una migrazione, un viaggio nel vuoto su esili vascelli. Non ci sono timonieri, remi, vele o motori, ma solo la forza e la tenacia delle proprie speranze e delle proprie visioni.

FABULA

This new work, inspired to Apuleio's fabula of Cupid and Psyche, talks about the labyrinths of our minds. 

Questa nuova opera, ispirata alla favola di Amore e Psyche di Apuleio, parle dei labirinti della nostra mente.

CAGES

Here you are a new project dealing both  with cricket cages and last months' events: a series of cages with cicada exuvia perched like little birds expresses the relationship between chance and coercion, fragility and strength, vitality and weakness.

You may see a detail in the photo on the left, while the one belowe simply shows one of my objects catalysts for ideas, a cricket cage, obviously ;)

GABBIE

Voilà il mio nuovo progetto che si confronta sia con le gabbiette per grilli che con gli eventi degli ultimi mesi: una serie di di gabbiette con exuviae di cicala come sparuti uccellini esprime il rapporto fra mutamento e coercizione, fragilità e forza, vitalità e debolezza. 

Nella foto in alto si può vedere un dettaglio, mentre qui a fianco semplicemente c'è uno dei miei oggetti calamita idee, una gabbietta cinese per grilli ;)
